The founder of Attitude Montagne, Dominic Asselin, is one of the first rock and alpine guides in Quebec to hold certifications from both the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) and the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). His commitment to climbing in Quebec is remarkable. In creating Attitude Montagne, he took the gamble that the standards of mountain climbing recognized in Western Canada and internationally should apply to Quebec. This gamble has proved successful, as these certifications are a guarantee of professionalism, high-level experience and the ability to act as a mentor to customers, which is essential for mountain activities.
