The presentation will show selected climbs in pictures and short videos. Part of the program will be the film “Infinity check” and the Norrøna Film “First ascents“.

Just so you know: The evenings come in a mixed formula with two talks, one in French and the other in English.

For the past 12 years, Matthias Scherer has spent several weeks each winter in Norway climbing imposing icefalls. To date, he has climbed over 1000 waterfalls in the Alps, Norway and Canada, including first ascents. The desire for the unknown is always the driving force behind his efforts. He teams up with his climbing and life partner Tanja Schmitt, plus Tanja’s twin sister Heike Schmitt on a regular basis.
