Panel – Adventure Sports and Family Life Balance
Charlotte Raymond Inspira
Serge-Alexandre Demers-Giroux
Guy Tremblay
Diving into adventure sports while juggling family life is an art—sometimes chaotic, often beautiful, always memorable. This panel highlights those who live—or have lived—this balance on a daily basis. Climbing parents, passionate athletes, and outdoor-loving families will share memorable anecdotes, unexpected challenges, and well-honed strategies for making crampons, family schedules, and athletic ambitions coexist.
To bring the discussion to life, exclusive photos—funny, touching, or downright improbable—will illustrate those moments when adventure and family meet. True to Festiglace’s mission, this conversation celebrates an inclusive, accessible, and deeply human approach to outdoor sports, where every outing becomes a story worth telling.
Screening of the film Zindabad
Mathieu Maynadier
8:45 pm
Between June 2 and 7, 2025, French alpinist Mathieu Maynadier and Pakistani climber Muizz ud Din opened a new, previously unclimbed route on the East Ridge of Spantik (7,027 m) in the Karakoram range of Pakistan. This ascent represents a major milestone for both Pakistani and international alpinism.
The film *Zindabad* documents this unique expedition, blending exploration, human challenge, extreme conditions, and a vision for the future of alpinism in Pakistan. It also highlights passion, international cooperation, and the pursuit of new mountain lines, even in the face of unexpected obstacles.
